Playing our part in The War on Error

Only yesterday, as we were roving through the merry greenwood gaily singing and having wrestling matches and other suchlike harmless jestings, it came to our ears that some vassals of St Vincents had refused to apologise for some or other naughty insult given to the Sherriff or one of his knaves. These villains believe themselves to be entirely innocent of any misdeeds and therefore unable to pay obeisance to their masters. Such impertinence!
These mischievous rascals are to be taught a lesson in some suitably medieval manner ( we understand the sheriffs men are looking into the feasibility of using the eco pond , they are in need of a handy ducking stool and perhaps a scolds bridle)
We would like it to be known, that although famed simply for our quick wit, brains, resourcefulness, cheerful countenances, comeliness, winning smiles and handiness with rustic weapons, we are nothing if not mannerly fellows.
We hereby announce to all the good people of Acton and the shires beyond that we are ready to do our part to uphold and defend the romantic spirit of chivalry and courtly manners.
Each week we shall do our part and apologise for something we have not done.
This week we are sorry for:
The Crusades
Gosh, awfully sorry about that.

Yesterday someone left this comment at an old posting from July 22nd called "Indeed we are not alone..."
I'll paste it in here so you can read it too:

You indeed are not alone. Have you heard about what is happening to another Catholic school in your diocese. New head teacher and 6 staff leaving after ONE term and one off with mental exhaustion. One member of staff brave enough to say that she is being bullied and as a result is off with stress. How can Catholic schools behave like this? Bullying kills the mind, body and soul. St. Swithun Wells was a teacher, I hope he was better to his staff!
